Dr. Wilkinson completed his Residency program and medical school training at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Here he was heavily invested in all orthopaedic care and procedures, but also took time to work closely with the physicians who care for the Philadelphia professional sports teams including the Philadelphia Eagles, 76ers, Phillies, and Flyers. He also spent his free time covering local rugby and hockey teams.

During his residency he trained at the world-renowned Rothman Institute in Philadelphia, as well as New England Baptist Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts.
Dr. Wilkinson continues to utilize the latest in orthopedic treatments and surgical solutions. Recently he has introduced a new form of treatment to his practice which is proven to aid in recovery of rotator cuff injuries. Regeneten bioinductive implant is a collagen implant delivered via a minimally invasive surgical procedure (arthroscopy) which can be used to grow new rotator cuff tissue. This form of treatment can be used to treat rotator cuff injuries earlier which assists in preventing future disease progression and damage. Dr. Wilkinson is one of few area physicians utilizing this technique and the only one within Sussex County.
Dr. Wilkinson’s deep passion for taking care of athletes and managing all orthopedic injuries is rooted in his deep love of being active. Dr. Wilkinson played rugby all 4 years of college and continued playing for local men’s teams in the Philadelphia area after graduation. In addition, he’s been involved with swimming, rowing crew, and baseball throughout his life.
Today, Dr Wilkinson enjoys staying active with powerlifting, hiking, and boating on nearby lakes. He currently is one of the team physicians for Sparta High School, and you can find him Friday nights on the sidelines of varsity football games.
